Branded Surveys sits in the middle of the market on raw pay and pulls ahead on structure. Its badge and tier system rewards consistency: log in daily, complete surveys, and your per-survey payout rises by 5 – 15% at the top tier.

That design cuts both ways. For someone taking surveys most days it is one of the better US panels. For someone dipping in twice a month, the tiers never build and the base rate is merely average.

Quick verdict

Best for: Daily users who will log in consistently and can climb the tiers — casual users get the worst of it.

Pros

  • Tier system (Bronze to Elite) adds a real 5 – 15% bonus on every completion once you climb.
  • Daily poll and streak bonuses give a reason to log in that actually pays.
  • Screen-outs consistently award 5 points.
  • $5 cash-out floor with PayPal and bank transfer options.

Cons

  • Base per-survey pay is unremarkable before the tier bonuses kick in.
  • Tiers reset if you go inactive, which punishes casual users.
  • Support response times run to several days.
  • Survey supply drops noticeably at the end of each month when quotas fill.

How the tier system works

You earn badges for completions, streaks and profile depth, and badges move you between Bronze, Silver, Gold and Elite. Each tier adds a percentage bonus on every survey you complete.

The bonus is applied at completion, not retroactively, so the value of climbing depends entirely on how much you complete afterwards. Getting to Gold in week one and then going quiet earns you nothing.

Pay in practice

Typical surveys pay 50 – 150 points for 10 – 20 minutes, with 100 points equal to $1. Longer studies reach 300 – 500 points but are rarer and screen aggressively.

Our tracked average across 38 completions was $3.90 an hour at Silver and roughly $4.40 at Gold — the tier bonus is real, but it is a modifier on a mid-range base, not a transformation.

Cash-out

The $5 minimum is reachable within a week of casual use. PayPal and bank transfers take one to three business days; gift cards are usually faster.

Redemptions are processed in batches, so a request made on a Friday commonly lands on the following Tuesday. Plan around that rather than assuming same-day.

Our verdict

Branded Surveys is a solid second panel and a reasonable primary for daily users. The tier bonuses are genuine, the screen-out compensation is consistent, and the $5 floor is fair.

If you cannot commit to logging in most days, the tier system works against you and a flat-rate panel will pay you more for the same effort.
